What is a Buffer Zone?

A buffer zone is the forest area surrounding the core tiger reserve. There is no strict physical boundary between the core and buffer — wildlife moves freely between them. Vegetation, topography, and ecology remain almost the same, making it a natural extension of the park.

Note: These areas may also have conservation rules in place — visitors are advised to follow local guidelines.
